Rotating Equipment Engineer

The Rotating Equipment Engineer position supports the delivery of cost-effective, safe, environmentally sound, and reliable unit operations.
The position utilizes leading edge technologies in the monitoring, evaluation, maintenance, repair, selection, and upgrading of equipment to maximize unit availability and performance.
The position will work with other engineering, maintenance, and operations personnel, as well as industry experts, in both project and day-to-day support roles Vibration analysis certification ISO category 2 Bently Nevada System 1 diagnostics Oil and Gas experience Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 5 to 15 years of refinery or chemical plant maintenance, reliability, or relevant engineering experience required Technical competency in performance monitoring and troubleshooting rotating equipment systems Specific knowledge and experience with API rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, steam turbines, gearboxes, couplings, fans, etc) is required Working knowledge in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
(oil analysis, vibration monitoring, compressor performance monitoring, etc.
) Strong understanding of API 686 RP for Machinery Installation and Installation Design Turnaround maintenance experience Experience with selection of new equipment and upgrades to existing equipment Currently holds a TWIC or eligible for TWIC Recommended Skills Api Machinery Maintenance Mechanical Engineering Oil Analysis Problem Solving Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
